Mike reading your blog the other day,I did resond to it as I thought you did a good job for your first time taking pictures and I also am not that good at pictures.You visited the childern museum also but found it wasn't what you call art.By me being a teacher I see this museum for childern as a way for them to express themselves in an innocent way in what they call art. Art is in the eyes of the beholder,and childern can actually tell you what their art is and if you look at it long enough you can visualize some things they share,just the colors they used,the mixing of the colors.I did a painting project with my class last month,I placed the papers under the table and the childern layed on the floor painting upside down,the conversation that came from this was tremedous when we had circle time.The words they used was written down and became part of their vocabulary words for the week.( I have done this project each year,and its always different).

    Not that children art is not good or anything, what I meant about the children museum is where you go and play and interact with the displays there. You can play in water, be on a show etc... I just meant that we did not see paintings and statues etc.. Just a different mueseum both are good for all of us.
